NOSE RESHAPING SURGERY - ENHANCING FACIAL HARMONY IN MONTREAL

IMPROVE YOUR LOOK AND CONFIDENCE

You have a malformation, debilitating nasal obstructions, breathing problems?
Or simply want to improve the appearance of your nose?

Rhinoplasty can be an interesting solution for you. This minor intervention aims to restore the balance of your facial structure by reducing the size of your nose.

Rhinoplasty will improve the shape, size and problematic features of your nose and restore balance and harmony to your face. If you previously suffered from breathing problems through your nostrils, you will be able to breathe freely and deeply through the nose. After rhinoplasty, you will feel exponentially happier with your facial appearance. This confidence may motivate you to pursue new opportunities and engage with new people. Facial harmony is the most important endpoint in any beautiful aesthetic enhancement of the face. The nose, as one of the most distinguishing facial features, must always be addressed with balance and proportion in mind. An elegant, smoothly contoured nose is the defining feature of a face in harmony. To achieve that ideal, you need a surgeon with an artist’s ability to sculpt a balanced, aesthetically pleasing nose through rhinoplasty.

There are a variety of reasons for which people consider rhinoplasty in Montreal, but at the end of the process, a nose that is both intrinsically balanced and in beautiful proportion with other facial features, is the ultimate goal.

Symmetry

Balanced features are universally appealing in nature. Even a slight deviation can disrupt the harmony of your appearance. Repositioning a nose that’s slightly off-center can highlight attractive facial features that, prior to rhinoplasty, had been overlooked.

Size

A nose that’s too large compared to the rest of the face can make you feel self-conscious. Reducing the size of the nose creates a subtle, but significant difference in your overall appearance.

Shape

A bump on the bridge of the nose, a bulbous or hanging tip, a bridge that is too wide, or large nostrils that aren’t pleasing are some of the features that can be corrected through rhinoplasty.

Difficulty Breathing

Occasionally the shape of the nose or a medical problem, such as a deviated septum or a broken nose, can make it difficult to breathe. Rhinoplasty to correct breathing issues may also include cosmetic changes if there is some specific issue you would like addressed during surgery. In most cases, rhinoplasty performed for medical reasons will be covered by insurance.

Rhinoplasty, commonly called nose surgery, does not cause much pain. In general, rhinoplasty is performed under general, mixed or local anesthesia. After changing the appearance of the nose, the surgeon will insert a wick into each nostril to stabilize the tissues and absorb secretions. A splint will also immobilize the nose for a period varying from five to ten days.

Your hospital recovery will last from a few hours to a few days. You will be able to apply cold water compresses right after surgery to reduce swelling around your eyelids and face. If necessary, you can take the painkillers prescribed by your surgeon.

After one week, you can resume your daily activities gradually so as not to increase the swelling. However, you will have to wait from three and six weeks before exercising. When the wicks and the splint are removed, your nose can be cleaned delicately. Please note that a freshly operated nose will be sensitive to the sun and to the cold for several months.
